Chicago-Style Hot Dog Recipe

The Chicago-style hot dog is a city classic. Just as how New York is picky about pizza Chicago is also very keen on hot dogs, how the toppings should be placed are important too. The Chicago-style hotdogs are not complete without poppy seeds and sport peppers. If you can’t find a sports pepper inside the hot dog buns then that is not a complete Chicago hot dog. Poppyseed buns can be hard to find outside the windy city, so you could make your pickled bun with an oven or you could add pickled green peppers instead. This blog shares two different Chicago-style recipes that you could try, you don’t need to be a professional chef to make them. Both recipes are easy and quick to prepare
